Wise Genius is the creative guise of Susie Tobias, a web designer and developer based in Bedford, UK. Serving a diverse client base, Susie works collaboratively with businesses to help them make the most of their web presence in order to generate new business opportunities. Whilst she brings expertise in building websites, the clients bring vital knowledge of their business, customers and working practices. A successful website is born out of the mix of this knowledge, allowing Susie to tailor the design to meet the client’s aspirations and giving them a say in how their business is represented. The Wise Genius mission is to give clients a website worthy of them and their business.

About Me

Susie Tobias aka Wise GeniusHi, I’m Susie Tobias, the face behind the purple owl! I set up Wise Genius in 2010 to indulge my passion for making the internet a better place and to set about giving small business’ elegant, well-built websites. I first became involved with websites in 2001, working on the Netmums local site for Bedford. This sparked a desire to learn more about how the web works and how websites are put together. I quickly picked-up HTML and CSS and started reading anything and everything I could about web design and development. I built my first site in 2007 – an information resource for participants in the Britsh Heart Foundation / WeightWatchers trek to Santiago de Compostela. After much deliberating Wise Genius was launched in March 2010.

As well as designing websites and spending hours surfing the web, I love to bake, practice yoga and meditate. I have recently rediscovered my enthusiasm for Agatha Christie and am happiest on the beach at Holkham Bay in Norfolk, eating fruit cake whilst watching my children playing in the sea.
