So, how does a town planner end up building WordPress websites?

The journey is eventful. From a failed move to London (not recommended in early pregnancy), to volunteering with the parenting website, Netmums. Via a distance learning course.

I never considered working for myself until my husband set-up his own business in 2007. Armed with my new coding skills, I thought about designing websites.

And then I started networking, meeting other mums in the same position as me. Some had already taken the leap. They were now running PR agencies, bookkeeping practices, and interior design businesses.

What inspired me to get going was that some of their websites were awful! I forget how many interesting and enthusiastic women I met whose websites let them down.

So, I decided to brighten up my corner of the internet. To give businesses a website that is a true reflection of what they stand for. Letting their personality and unique qualities shine through, whilst showing off their expertise.
