WordPress website health check
Get the reassurance that the website you sweated over is working hard for your business
Congratulations! You’ve built a WordPress website with the help of online articles, and YouTube videos.
But something doesn’t feel quite right; you’re not 100% convinced that your website is set up as well as it could be. Or that it is working as hard for your business as it could.
The Wise Genius website health check gives you the reassurance that all is well. And if it’s not, gives you practical advice on how to change things.
It is important for your site to be in good working order, so it can support you and your business.
I have developed a checklist against which to assess a WordPress website. A checklist that is evolving as WordPress changes and improves.
Putting your website through its paces
The Wise Genius website health check is a comprehensive analysis of your site. It looks at the design, build, content, functionality, security, speed, and usability. It includes the following…
A review of themes and plugins
Security checks
Use of the built-in WordPress Site Health tools
Site speed analysis
Broken link check
Testing across different devices, including mobile checks
Summary of findings
Advice on changes/improvements
In return…
A detailed report showing the results of each test. This will include recommendations and advice on how to make any improvements.
An invitation to book a Zoom call to review the report and show you exactly what needs doing.
If you need help with completing the improvements, I am happy to discuss this with you and quote for any extra work.
To complete a website health check, I will need access to the back end of your WordPress site. I will supply instructions on setting up a new user profile after you request a health check. I may also need to check things via your hosting account; I will send a separate request if necessary.
Happy clients
Susie thoroughly reviewed my WordPress website then sent a report with action points. I was able to implement most of her recommendations, then we Zoomed for her to assist me with areas I couldn’t do myself. I am very grateful to Susie for her knowledge in helping me make my website the best it can be.

Any questions?
Is a website health check right for me?
A website health check is perfect for you if you have built your site with WordPress. You would like the reassurance that it is well set-up and working as hard for your business as possible.
Can you help me put the improvements you suggest into action?
When your health check report is ready, you can book a Zoom call to go over implementing any improvements. This is an ideal opportunity to ask questions and get a better understanding of how and why to make changes. You will also receive a recording of the call for future reference.
What if I don’t have a WordPress website?
Then unfortunately, this service is not for you. I am an expert in WordPress websites. While I can provide an assessment of sites built using other tools, it won’t be as comprehensive or useful.
