The second in our fortnightly series entitled Website 101, providing advice on website best practice.
How frustrated do you get when you’ve had a look around a website and have something you want to ask about, but the business owner has left no means of getting in touch?
Think of the opportunities you could miss if visitors to your website can’t find any way to contact you. Giving them a point of contact is valuable in creating a positive user experience and speaks volumes about your business in terms of its customer service. Make it easy to connect with you and visitors will know you are willing to engage with them.
People will arrive at your site on various pages, so be sure to include a link to your contact information on every page. Put it in the main navigation, as well as the footer and label it clearly. Even if you don’t want to use a contact form, be sure to include an email address or telephone number where people can get in touch.
