LS Media is a PR consultancy, run by Lesley Singleton, specialising in business-to-consumer PR and media relations.
Now in its sixth year, Lesley was looking to refresh her current website (previously designed & developed by Wise Genius) to reflect how her business has grown and developed. She now has a range of off-the-peg PR packages to promote, alongside a growing support team of freelancers and experts. The website needed to give visitors confidence in Lesley’s experience and ability to generate publicity for their business, and leave them feeling that she is professional and dynamic, has her finger on the media-pulse and is someone they want to work with.
A new site plan was drawn up, identifying areas where new content and images were needed. The colour scheme was amended to include oranges and browns to complement the existing blues; these were used as accents throughout the site and for calls to action.
In order to showcase LS Media’s diverse client base, a scrolling banner was added to the homepage displaying client logos and key products that Lesley has promoted. Social media links and contact opportunities were displayed in the footer area throughout the site.
Grids of clickable images were added to display the LS Media team, as well as PR packages and client sectors. Dedicated case study pages were added to include project aims and coverage, plus accompanying testimonials.
The site continues to use a custom-built WordPress theme ensuring that Lesley retains full control over updating content, including adding to case studies, plus maintaining her blog with new press coverage and details of her chosen charity for 2012. Existing search engine optimisation was updated in accordance with content changes across the site.
