Welcome to part 2 of our series of tips to help you spring clean your website.
Make your contact details clear
How frustrated do you get when you’ve had a look around a website and have something you want to inquire about, but the site owner has left no means of getting in touch? Just think of the opportunities you could miss if your visitors can’t find any way to contact you. Giving them a point of contact is valuable in creating a positive user experience and speaks volumes about your business in terms of its customer service. Make it easy to connect with you and your visitors will know you are willing to engage with them.
Visitors will arrive at your site on various pages, so try and include a link to your contact information on every page. Put it in the main navigation and / or the site footer and make sure it is clear. Even if you don’t want to use a contact form, be sure to include an email address or telephone number where visitors can get in touch.
